According to the information compiled from the data of Malatya Commodity Exchange, last season (1 August 2021-31 July 2022), 80 thousand 720 tons of dried apricots were exported to 113 countries and brought $375 million to the country’s economy. In the first 20 days of August, when the new season started, 2 thousand 908 tons of dried apricots were exported to the USA, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Brazil, and a revenue of $16 million 54 thousand was obtained.

We anticipate that the numbers will return to normal in the future. We are taking firm steps towards our target of 100 thousand tons of export and $500 million.”
