46 agriculture & livestock fairs will be held in 2021 according to the Fair Calendar

The fair schedule in Turkey for 2021 is determined; accordingly, 46 of the total 387 fairs will be held on behalf of agriculture and animal husbandry field.

 According to the 2021 Exhibition Calendar prepared by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, 143 of the fairs to be held next year will be international.

The agriculture, livestock and food sectors, whose importance has increased and continue to grow during the epidemic, will be the areas where the most exhibitions will be held. In this context, 46 fairs on the agriculture & livestock sector and 32 on the food sector will be organized.

Istanbul will stand out in agriculture, livestock and food fairs

Istanbul will be the city hosting the most events in the field of agriculture and livestock with 5 fairs. While Tekirdag will host 4 fairs, Balikesir and Bursa host 3 fairs.

According to the fair calendar, 2 agriculture and livestock fairs will be held in Adana, Antalya, Kayseri, Kirklareli, Konya, Mersin and Mugla provinces; while only one fair will be held in Aydin, Batman, Burdur, Corum, Denizli, Edirne, Eskisehir, Isparta, Izmir, Manisa, Mardin, Sakarya, Samsun,Sanliurfa, Usak, Ordu and Yozgat.

36 of the 46 exhibitions in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry will be specialized, and 10 will be international. These fairs will be held especially on September and November.

Istanbul is ahead in food fairs too

Istanbul stands out with 11 fairs in the food sector; while 3 fairs on food sectors will be held in Antalya, Izmir and Mersin, two food fairs will be held in Eskisehir. A food fair is also planned to be held in Aydin, Batman, Bursa, Kayseri, Mardin, Manisa, Ordu, Samsun, Sanliurfa and Yozgat.

Of the 32 food fairs, 18 will be specialized and 14 will be international. These fairs will be mostly held on February, March and September.
