Six agreements were signed between the two countries in the presence of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
After the tete-a-tete meeting of President Erdogan and Sanchez at the Presidential Complex and the 7th Turkey-Spain Intergovernmental Summit, various agreements were signed.
In this context, between the two countries, “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Ecological Transformation and Demographic Testing of the Kingdom of Spain on Cooperation in the Field of Water” was signed by the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli and the Third Deputy President of the Spanish Government and the Minister of Ecological Transformation and Demographic Testing, Teresa Ribera Rodriguez.
The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Polar Sciences and Logistics between the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey and the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Kingdom of Spain was signed by the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation Jose Manuel Albares Bueno.
“Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Disaster and Emergency Management between the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Turkey and the General Directorate of Civil Protection and Emergency of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Spain”, was signed by Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu and Spanish Minister of Interior Fernando Grande-Marlaska Gomez.
Youth and Sports Minister Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoglu and Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation Jose Manuel Albares Bueno signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Kingdom of Spain.
Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, and Teresa Ribera Rodriguez, Third Deputy President of the Spanish Government and Minister of Ecological Transformation and Demographic Testing signed “Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency between the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Ecological Transformation and Demographic Testing of the Kingdom of Spain”.
Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, and Yolanda Diaz Perez, Second Deputy President of the Spanish Government and Minister of Labor and Social Economy signed “Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in the Fields of Labor and Employment between the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Turkey and the Second Vice Presidency of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain and the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy”
