Istanbul Economy Summit has ended

Istanbul Economy Summit was held for the 7th time with the theme “Sustainable Life and Smart Cities”. Business people, academicians, bureaucrats and politicians from around the world came together at the summit.

According to the statement made by the Istanbul Economy Summit Executive Board, the summit held at Ciragan Palace started with the opening speeches of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ersin Tatar, Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Istanbul Economy Summit Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Deger and the President of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB), Firuz Baglikaya.

The two-day summit, held under the main sponsorship of Koluman Automotive, brought together 1500 business people, academicians, bureaucrats and politicians from around the world.

Within the scope of the summit, the Istanbul Golden Values Award Ceremony was also held, where 14 institutions and individuals were rewarded for their significant contributions in various fields.

In this context, the “Leading Technology Company Award in the Field of Clean Energy Transformation and Sustainability in E-Mobility” was presented to GIO, and the “Environmental Compliance and Innovation Award” was presented to Koluman Otomotiv, “Sustainability Award in the Automotive Sector” was presented to Borusan Otomotiv BMW Turkiye, “Pioneering Award in Sustainable Tourism” was presented to Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency, “Award for Contribution to Sustainability and Innovation in Health” was presented to Sanofi, “Outstanding Achievement Award for Contributions to the Development of Technoparks and Incubation Centers in Turkiye” was presented to ITU ARI Teknokent, “Sustainable Logistics Achievement Award” was presented to Lyonel A. Makzume Group of Companies, “Innovative Renewable Energy Company of the Year Award” was presented to Klaus Miller, “Sustainable Innovative Contracting Award in Energy Structures” was presented to Tellioglu Group, “Sustainability and Digital Transformation Pioneer Award in the Machinery Sector” was presented to Forma Makina, “Sustainable Digital Transformation Award with Technology” was presented to Aya Tech, and “Contribution to Business between Germany and Turkiye Award” was presented to Getir Germany.

After the award ceremony, Hulya Albayrak Bayar’s 100th anniversary fashion show took place. The night ended with the live performance of musician Irmak Arici.

The Istanbul Golden Values Awards Ceremony and Gala dinner also served as an opportunity to network and establish new connections. The event was the highlight of the summit, bringing together culture, fashion and art.
