Mondihome opened its 381st store in Istanbul

Mondihome, Erciyes Anadolu Holding’s brand in the furniture industry, opened its 381st store in Istanbul MetroCity AVM.

Erciyes Anadolu Holding Board Member and CEO Associate Professor Alpaslan Baki Ertekin, Mondihome General Manager Ozkan Yildirim, Mondihome Kayserispor President Ali Camli, technical staff, managers, football players and guests attended the opening ceremony.

Making a statement to the AA correspondent at the ceremony, Mondihome General Manager Ozkan Yildirim stated that they have exceeded their targets for 2023 and that they continue to provide service at 381 points in the country and 33 points abroad.

Stating that they differ from other brands with their designs and quality, Yildirim said, “Although the need for furniture in Turkiye is secondary to basic consumption needs, our products are in demand by our consumers.

“Even though there may be economic fluctuations, needs will always continue to be met. The need for furniture will never end.”

Emphasizing that the wedding season started to shift with the pandemic, Yildirim said, “There are consumers who postpone their weddings, as well as consumers who hold weddings on dates that were not held before.

Therefore, seasonal fluctuations in the furniture market have decreased compared to the past. The postponed needs later appear as large purchases. We can say that we experienced this in 2023.”

Yildirim made the following evaluations:

“When we think of it as a factory, we operate with a work team of 1000 people. When we think of it as dealers, we can say that we contribute to employment at a rate of 20 times these figures. When we think of families, we can say that we touch a significant number of lives. Our investments continue in the Gulf and European countries. We aim to grow in new markets as our investors increase.”
