Access Bank Ghana Brings Women-Led Businesses to Türkiye for Trade Opportunities

Access Bank Ghana has organized a special tour to Türkiye for a group of business owners — mostly women — to explore new trade opportunities. The visiting entrepreneurs from Ghana will also attend the WCI Forum in Istanbul.

Turkish products enjoy strong demand in Ghana, particularly in sectors such as construction, roofing materials, agricultural products and equipment, and industrial machinery. To support this interest, Access Bank designed a tailored program for its entrepreneurial clients, with the delegation arriving in Istanbul yesterday.

Business Meetings and Istanbul Tour

In addition to holding private meetings with Turkish companies, the Ghanaian business group will take part in cultural activities, including a Bosphorus cruise and sightseeing tours in Istanbul. They will also participate in the WCI Forum, seeking new business partnerships.

“We Are Committed to Helping Women Go Beyond Borders”

Roselind Akko, Head of Women Banking at Access Bank (Ghana) PLC, said:

“Access Bank is committed to opening doors for Ghanaian entrepreneurs — especially women in business — to go beyond borders. This trade mission offers our clients direct access to global markets, innovative technologies, and high-value partnerships. We believe initiatives like this are vital for fostering sustainable business growth and positioning Ghanaian enterprises to compete on the world stage.”
