Agesa Life and Pension stated that the cost of the earthquakes to the company will be limited

Agesa Life and Pension announced that the earthquakes in Kahramanmaras will not have a significant impact on the company’s financial statements for 2023.

Agesa Life and Pension gave information on the effects of the earthquake on the company in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).

In the statement, it was stated that they were deeply saddened by the earthquakes and that they stood by the Turkish people in every way materially and morally during this difficult period, and said, “We foresee that our earthquake protection, which is based on our Excess Damage Reinsurance Agreements, will cover the compensations that will occur as a result of the earthquakes and that the related compensation will not have a significant impact on our 2023 financial statements.”
