ISTANBUL, June 27 — Companies should adopt artificial intelligence-integrated email management systems to safeguard corporate memory, prevent data loss, and ensure business continuity, according to Gökalp Çakıcı, Founder and CEO of Uzman Posta.
Speaking on Bloomberg HT’s Gündem Teknoloji program, Çakıcı described email as one of the most valuable digital assets for organizations, containing years of correspondence, project histories, business decisions, and customer interactions that collectively form a company’s institutional knowledge.
“Every organization has its own corporate memory, and email is its primary source,” Çakıcı said. “Communications between departments, archived files, and both internal and external correspondence are all stored within email systems. Effective email management is essential to preserving this knowledge, preventing data loss, and maintaining business continuity.”
Çakıcı explained that Uzman Posta’s AI-powered platform processes data flowing through corporate email systems, enabling organizations to retrieve, organize, and preserve historical information more efficiently.
He also highlighted the evolving role of artificial intelligence in information retrieval, comparing its impact to that of internet search engines.
“Just as search engines transformed access to information, artificial intelligence is taking it to a new level,” he said. “Today’s AI is capable of understanding context and cause-and-effect relationships, helping users quickly reach meaningful insights. The key is asking the right questions to obtain the right answers.”
According to Çakıcı, AI enables users to extract the most relevant information from large volumes of content, allowing even individuals without deep expertise to gain valuable knowledge. He added that the technology has the potential to help smaller businesses compete more effectively with larger enterprises by improving productivity and decision-making.
Discussing Uzman Posta’s growth strategy, Çakıcı said the company continues to expand organically despite rising operating costs. He noted increasing engagement with public sector organizations as concerns over data sovereignty and cybersecurity gain prominence in Türkiye.
The company works with local governments and defense industry partners to provide secure email infrastructure, archiving services, and protection against email-based cyber threats. Çakıcı stated that Uzman Posta is currently Türkiye’s only domestic producer of enterprise email infrastructure and attributed the company’s accelerated product development to the efficiencies gained through artificial intelligence.
The comments reflect a broader trend of organizations investing in AI-powered enterprise software to improve operational efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity, and better manage growing volumes of digital information.
