Istanbul’s Urban Transformation Gains Momentum with Algün’s New Projects in Ataşehir and Beylerbeyi
Real estate and construction company Algün has announced the launch of two large-scale urban renewal projects in Istanbul’s Ataşehir and Beylerbeyi districts, backed by a combined investment of ₺20 billion. The projects aim to contribute to the city’s transformation with earthquake-resistant, high-quality structures, while positioning the company for global expansion.
According to a statement by the company, Algün—boasting over 25 years of experience in the construction and real estate sector—aims to strengthen both Istanbul’s urban infrastructure and its own standing as a globally recognized brand.
Two Signature Projects to Reshape Istanbul’s Urban Landscape
The “Algün Ataşehir” project, designed as a mixed-use, concept-based development, will offer 300 residential units with modern living standards and easy access to transportation. The project will feature social amenities, high-roof design, terrace areas, and pools with views of the Princes’ Islands. It is set to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2025.
Meanwhile, located in Üsküdar’s historic Beylerbeyi neighborhood, the “Algün Beylerbeyi” project will comprise 1,250 independent units. This development promises to combine modern architecture with the district’s historical character, offering a unique lifestyle in one of Istanbul’s most culturally rich areas.
A Broader Vision: From Istanbul to the World
Cihat Algün, Chairman of Algün’s Board of Directors, stated that the company is not only focused on expanding domestically but also aims to become a global player in the industry:
“With over 25 years of experience and more than 47 completed projects, we’ve contributed to the economy, urban development, and modern living standards. So far, we’ve helped more than 5,000 families become homeowners. Our goal is to be recognized among the sector’s global leaders.”
In addition to its upcoming Istanbul projects, Algün is actively working on housing deliveries in Düzce. Out of 47 total projects in the city, 40 have already been delivered, with plans to complete 3 more by the end of this year and the remaining 4 in 2026.
“We’re Entering Istanbul with Excitement”
Speaking on the upcoming launches, Cihat Algün noted:
“We’re entering 2025 with the excitement of launching two major investments in Istanbul. These projects represent a total investment of ₺20 billion, and we’ll soon begin their official promotion.”
With these initiatives, Algün is set to make a significant mark on Istanbul’s ongoing urban transformation while laying the groundwork for broader national and international growth.
