
Amazon.com.tr has announced its list of the best-selling books of 2025, offering a striking snapshot of reading preferences among readers in Türkiye.
According to a statement from the company, Amazon Türkiye’s 2025 best-sellers list highlights strong interest in literature and fiction as well as family and lifestyle, with each category represented by three titles in the top 10. These were followed by science fiction and fantasy, which placed two books on the list.
Topping the list was “Yellowface” by R. F. Kuang, a novel examining the state of the world in the aftermath of a pandemic. In second place was “Meditations” by Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, widely regarded as one of the foundational works of Stoic philosophy and written during his military campaigns against Germanic tribes.
Third place went to “Bekle Beni” (Wait for Me) by Zülfü Livaneli, a novel centered on a story of love and resistance.
Research findings and customer satisfaction
According to the “Türkiye’s Online Book Shopping Habits” study conducted in 2025 by independent research company VeriNays Araştırma, Amazon Türkiye ranked among the most preferred platforms for online book shopping in the country.
The research showed that one out of every two customers who purchased books from Amazon Türkiye in 2025 rated their shopping experience a perfect 10 out of 10. The company also ranked first in overall customer satisfaction in the online book purchasing category, with an average score of 9 out of 10.
Amazon Türkiye received high ratings for fast and smooth delivery, and was also ranked top by users in the value-for-money category.
Ahead of the new year, Amazon Türkiye is offering a 10 percent discount at checkout on selected books for purchases of 750 Turkish lira and above. In addition to the titles on the best-sellers list, readers can access a wide selection of local and international books through Amazon Türkiye’s book category.
Executive commentary
Commenting on the announcement, Serdar Çepniler, General Manager of Books and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods at Amazon Türkiye, noted that Amazon’s journey began with books, giving the category a special place within the company.
Çepniler said the 2025 sales data show that readers continue to value timeless literary classics while also remaining open to discovering new authors and diverse stories.
“By offering a wide selection, competitive prices, and fast delivery, we connect readers with the books they love while also enabling them to explore new writers and genres,” Çepniler said. “In 2025, we will continue working closely with publishers, authors, and all stakeholders in the literary world to support reading habits in Türkiye and make access to books even easier.”
