Istanbul 62nd International Exhibition for Footwear Materials, Components, Leather and Technologies

The 61st edition of AYSAF International Footwear Side Industry Exhibition, the largest meeting of the Turkish footwear side industry, was held on 60 thousand square meters area at CNR EXPO İstanbul Expo Center   Ali Bulut, CEO of CNR Holding, said: “More than 450 companies that shape the footwear side industry presented their new products and technologies to 12 thousand 568 industry professionals of which 1,558 were from abroad. The exhibition organized twice a year significantly contributes to the footwear side industry hence the footwear industry.

AYSAF helped generate a business volume of 500 million dollars for the participating companies.”  The 61st edition of AYSAF International Footwear Side Industry Exhibition that plays a vital role in the development of the industry took place at CNR EXPO İstanbul. More than 450 companies participated in the exhibition organized by Positive Fairs, a CNR Holding company in collaboration with the Turkish Footwear Industry Research and Education Foundation (TASEV), and Turkish Footwear Components Manufacturers Association (AYSAD).

Latest technologies and products related to the industry such as shoe soles, heels, accessories, textiles, chemicals, leather and artificial leather materials were showcased on 60 thousand square meters area.   

Great interest from international buyers  

CEO of CNR, Ali Bulut, evaluated AYSAF: “Companies that shape the footwear side industry presented their new products and technologies to 12 thousand 568 industry professionals of which 1,558 were from abroad. There was a huge turnout from Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Germany, Iran, Pakistan, India, Spain, and the Turkic Republics. Middle Eastern, African, East and Central European countries showed great interest in the latest trends exhibited. There was an Indian national pavilion for the first time this year. The Indian Footwear Components Manufacturer’s Association visited the exhibition and opened the door for new business connections between the two countries. The exhibition organized twice a year significantly contributes to the footwear side industry hence the footwear industry. AYSAF helped generate a business volume of 500 million dollars for the participating companies.”

New designs and trends left their mark at AYSAF, the largest meeting of the Turkish Footwear sub-industry which grows steadily every year.    

Using footwear models and sub-industry materials produced by the exhibiting companies, mood boards, and visuals, four trends of the new season were presented to AYSAF visitors at the Trend Area, where 2020 spring-summer trend seminars were held.    

Latest Rapid Prototyping technique were displayed and crucial information on the upcoming season’s trends were shared at the Trend Area organized with the collaboration of Pozitif Fairs, AYSAD, and Istanbul Fashion Academy.
