Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) Spokesperson Ibrahim Ahmedov stated that they will increase natural gas exports to Turkey.
In his written statement, Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) Spokesperson Ibrahim Ahmedov stated that Turkey applied to Azerbaijan to meet the temporary need caused by technical problems related to natural gas imports from Iran to Turkey.
Noting that Turkey’s application received a positive response, Ahmedov said, “Existing opportunities will be mobilized and natural gas exports from Azerbaijan to Turkey will be increased in line with the demand.”
