Bewen Enerji Launches ₺3.85 Billion IPO to Enter Capital Markets

ISTANBUL — Turkish renewable energy producer Bewen Enerji A.Ş. is set to debut on Borsa Istanbul with an initial public offering (IPO) valued at approximately ₺3.85 billion, aiming to finance capacity expansion and accelerate its long-term growth strategy in clean energy.

The company will offer a total of 80 million shares at a fixed price of ₺48.10 per share. The IPO consists of 56 million newly issued shares through a capital increase and 24 million existing shares sold by current shareholders. Following the offering, Bewen Enerji’s free float is expected to reach 25.24%. Investors will be able to submit orders between July 29 and July 31, 2026.

The offering is being led by Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası (TSKB), with Yatırım Finansman Menkul Değerler serving as co-lead manager. Shares allocated to domestic retail investors will be distributed using the equal allocation method, while institutional investors and high-demand investors will receive separate allocations.

Bewen Enerji is jointly owned by Beyçelik Holding and Elawan Energy, the Spanish renewable energy company backed by Japan’s ORIX Corporation. The company operates a fully renewable electricity portfolio with 208.9 MW of installed mechanical capacity, including wind farms in Kayseri, Aydın, and İzmir, as well as a supporting solar power plant in Kayseri. According to the Turkish Wind Energy Association, Bewen ranks among Türkiye’s leading wind energy investors.

Chief Executive Zafer İğdeli said the company intends to use 55% of the net IPO proceeds to expand the capacity of its existing wind power plants and pursue inorganic growth opportunities. The planned investments, estimated at $55–60 million, are expected to significantly increase Bewen’s electricity generation capacity. Additional proceeds will be allocated to debt reduction and working capital needs.

“Every asset in our portfolio is based on zero-carbon renewable energy. We have no fossil fuel investments, and our priority is to strengthen our position in Türkiye’s green energy transition through sustainable growth,” İğdeli said during the company’s IPO launch event.
