BIST 100 Opens Higher as Turkiye’s Benchmark Index Rises 0.21%

Benchmark BIST 100 index up 20.12 points at opening session

Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 9,443.74 points, up 0.21% or 20.12 points from the previous close.

On Monday, the BIST 100 went up by 0.45% to 9,423.62 points, with a daily transaction volume of 76.1 billion Turkish liras ($2 billion).

As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 38.0570 liras to the US dollar,43.1915 to the euro, and 50.2555 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $3,222.75, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.90 per barrel.
