BIST 100 gains 79.2 points at opening session
Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,655.66, up 0.75% or 79.21 points.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 was down 1.97% to close at 10,576.45 points,with a daily transaction volume of 174.5 billion Turkish liras ($4.13 billion).
As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 42.2420 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.9740 to the euro, and 55.5660 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,123.10, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.8 per barrel.
