The American Turkish Society, co-chaired by Akbank Chairman Suzan Sabanci Dincer, launched a series of events to be held in the USA to improve Turkey’s economic and cultural ties with a panel held at Bloomberg New York Headquarters.
Speaking at the opening of the panel, Michael Bloomberg, Owner and Founder of Bloomberg LP, stated that Turkey’s position is important in the post-pandemic economic recovery and said that Turkey stands out in terms of growth performance, geographical location and trade policies.
Bloomberg said, “There are rapidly developing e-commerce companies in Turkey. I evaluate the commitments in Turkey on issues such as climate change and zero emissions very positively. I am happy to host the panel.”
IMPORTANT MISSION
Akbank Chairman of the Board Suzan Sabanci Dinver said: “It is a very important task for us to introduce Turkey, to explain its economic potential and power, and to develop diplomatic, economic and cultural ties with the United States.
