The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye will announce the fourth inflation report of the year on Thursday, October 27. In the third inflation report of the year, the year-end inflation forecast was raised to 60.4%.
According to the announcement made by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT), Chairman Sahap Kavcioglu will hold an information meeting at the CBRT Headquarters on Thursday at 10.30 to promote the Inflation Report 2022-IV.
Kavcioglu will then answer questions from members of the press and economists.
The meeting will be held in a physical environment and will be broadcast live on the CBRT’s website and the bank’s official Twitter and YouTube accounts.
In the third Inflation Report of the year, the CBRT announced that it raised its year-end inflation forecast for 2022 from 42.8% to 60.4% with a 17.6 percentage point update.
