The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) has reported a notable increase in its total reserves, reaching approximately $150.4 billion as of August 2, 2024. This marks a rise of $2.375 billion from the previous week. The CBRT’s latest figures show that gross foreign exchange reserves climbed by $584 million, pushing the total to $92.5 billion. This is a jump from the $91.9 billion recorded on July 26.

In parallel, gold reserves experienced a substantial boost, growing by $1.791 billion to reach $57.9 billion, up from $56.1 billion. The overall increase in both foreign exchange and gold reserves has contributed to the significant rise in the CBRT’s total reserves.
