
Non-residents made the highest stock purchase since the week of November 19, 2021, with $366.2 million last week.
Weekly Securities Statistics has been published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).
Accordingly, non-residents bought a net $366.2 million of equities and $2.7 million of Company Debt Securities (CIS) in the week of August 19, while they sold $9.5 million of Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDS).
Thus, foreign investors’ share purchase was at the highest level since the week of November 19, 2021.
The stock of non-residents, which was $16 billion 945.3 million as of August 12, rose to $18 billion 188.4 million on 19 August.
In the same period, GDDS stocks of non-residents increased from $1 billion 329.5 million to $1 billion 344.5 million, and SIS stocks increased from $104 million to $106.5 million.
