Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) decreased by $1 billion 429 million in the week of February 24 compared to the previous week and decreased to $121 billion 170 million.

Accordingly, as of February 24, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $1 billion 409 million to 71 billion 980 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $73 billion 389 million on 17 February.
In the said period, gold reserves decreased by $20 million from $49 billion 210 million to $49 billion 190 million.
Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves decreased from $122 billion 599 million to $121 billion 170 million in the week of February 24, with a decrease of $1 billion 429 million compared to the previous week.
