Central Bank reserves are at the highest level of the year with $122.9 billion

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) increased by $5 billion 362 million in the week of 18 November compared to the previous week and reached the highest level of the year with $122 billion 885 million.

Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT.

Accordingly, as of November 18, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by $3 billion 409 million to $80 billion 30 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $76 billion 621 million on 11 November.

In the said period, gold reserves increased by $1 billion 953 million and reached $42 billion 855 million from $40 billion 902 million.

Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves rose from $117 billion 523 million to $122 billion 885 million in the week of November 18, with an increase of $5 billion 362 million compared to the previous week. The aforementioned data pointed to the highest level of the year.
