
CBRT Reserves Increase by $114 Million, Reaching $154 Billion
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) announced that its reserves have reached a new record, increasing by $114 million to a total of $154 billion last week. According to the weekly monetary and banking statistics released by the CBRT, gross foreign exchange reserves rose by $350 million, climbing to $94.695 billion as of July 19, up from $94.345 billion on July 12.
However, during the same period, gold reserves decreased by $237 million, falling from $59.451 billion to $59.214 billion.
Overall, the CBRT’s total reserves saw a weekly increase, rising from $153.796 billion to $153.910 billion by July 19.
