Central Bank reserves rose to $126.9 billion

The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye increased by $6 billion 874 million in the week of March 17 compared to the previous week and rose to $126 billion 887 million.

Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT.

Accordingly, as of March 17, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by $4 billion 232 million to $73 billion 928 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $69 billion 696 million on 10 March.

In the said period, gold reserves increased by $2 billion 643 million from $50 billion 316 million to $52 billion 959 million.

Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves increased by $6 billion 874 million in the week of March 17 compared to the previous week, from $120 billion 13 million to $126 billion 887 million.
