
Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) decreased by $3 billion 537 million in the week of May 18 compared to the previous week and decreased to $101 billion 590 million.
Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT.
Accordingly, as of May 18, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $1 billion 990 million to $58 billion 825 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $60 billion 815 million on 12 May.
In the said period, gold reserves decreased by $1 billion 547 million from $44 billion 312 million to $42 billion 765 million.
Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves decreased from $105 billion 127 million to $101 billion 590 million in the week of May 18, with a decrease of $3 billion 537 million compared to the previous week.
