Central Bank reserves were $98.5 billion in the week of May 26

Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) decreased by $3 billion 132 million in the week of May 26 compared to the previous week and decreased to $98 billion 458 million.

Weekly Money and Bank Statistics were published by the CBRT.

Accordingly, as of May 26, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $2 billion 306 million to $56 billion 519 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $58 billion 825 million on May 18.

In the said period, gold reserves decreased by $826 million from $42 billion 765 million to $41 billion 939 million.

Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves decreased from $101 billion 590 million to $98 billion 458 million in the week of May 26, with a decrease of $3 billion 132 million compared to the previous week.
