The term of the Turkish Petroleum Joint Stock Company’s (TPAO) oil exploration license covering an area of 15 thousand 346 hectares in Sirnak has been extended by 2 years.
The decision of the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources on the subject was published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, TPAO applied for the extension of the oil exploration license period, which covers an area of 15 thousand 346 hectares in Sirnak province and whose extension period ends as of February 8, 2023.
It was decided to extend the oil exploration license in question for 2 years until February 8, 2025.
