Credit Trading Ban on Four Stocks

According to a statement by Borsa Istanbul, under the Volatility-Based Measures System (VBTS) implemented as per the decision of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (Sermaye Piyasası Kurulu – SPK), a one-month credit trading ban has been imposed on the shares of the following four companies:

  • Derlüks Yatırım Holding A.Ş.
  • Büyük Şefler Gıda Turizm Tekstil Danışmanlık Organizasyon Eğitim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
  • Borlease Otomotiv A.Ş.
  • Gedik Yatırım A.Ş.

Borsa Istanbul announced that these shares are now subject to credit trading restrictions. According to the public disclosure made via the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), within the scope of VBTS enforced by SPK, trading in the shares BIGCH.E, BORLS.E, and GEDIK.E will be prohibited from being used in short selling and credit transactions from the start of the session on June 18, 2025, until the end of the session on July 17, 2025.

For Derlüks Yatırım Holding (DERHL.E), it was also stated:
“Under the Volatility-Based Measures System (VBTS) enforced by the Capital Markets Board (SPK), gross settlement will be applied to DERHL.E shares from the start of trading on June 18, 2025, until the end of trading on July 17, 2025. During this period, previously implemented measures under VBTS, including the credit transaction ban, will remain in effect.”
