DCT Trading has officially started trading on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker “DCTTR,” marking a significant milestone for the company. The gong ceremony, which symbolized the company’s debut on the stock exchange, was attended by executives from Borsa Istanbul, DCT Trading, and numerous guests.
The company’s initial public offering (IPO) took place on July 25-26, with shares priced at ₺14 each. The offering attracted significant interest, with a demand 2.41 times the available shares. As a result, DCT Trading successfully raised ₺525 million through the sale of ₺37.5 million nominal value shares, achieving a public float of 28.85%.
During the ceremony, Borsa Istanbul CEO Korkmaz Ergun highlighted DCT Trading’s expertise in international agricultural commodities trading and its continuous expansion in the sector. “With today’s listing, DCT Trading shares its extensive experience with new partners. The funds raised will fuel their investment plans, enabling them to achieve their growth targets more effectively,” Ergun stated, welcoming DCT Trading to the Borsa Istanbul family.
Levent Sadık Ahmet, Chairman of DCT Trading, expressed his excitement about the company’s new chapter. “Becoming the 544th company to list on Borsa Istanbul is a significant achievement for DCT Trading. With over 400,000 new shareholders, we are poised to further expand our operations,” Ahmet remarked. He emphasized that the company has grown into a global player over the past 20 years, exporting to countries like China, Japan, and Vietnam.
Ahmet also outlined DCT Trading’s strategic focus on leveraging the IPO proceeds for value-added projects and investments in artificial intelligence-driven solutions. These initiatives are expected to enhance exports, create jobs, and contribute to the company’s long-term growth. “We have already prepared our investment and strategic plans for the next three years and begun implementing them. Our investors are now partners in this well-planned journey,” he added.
The IPO proceeds will also be directed toward physical investments in the company’s core areas, aimed at generating added value and increasing employment. This strategic direction reflects DCT Trading’s commitment to sustainable growth and innovation in the agricultural sector.
