Local startup Delivers.ai, which develops autonomous delivery robots, received investment from Ford Otosan’s corporate venture capital firm Driventure, according to the company’s founder and CEO Ali Kutay Yarali.

Delivers.ai, a domestic startup that recently moved its headquarters to the UK and develops autonomous delivery robots, received an investment from Ford Otosan’s corporate venture capital firm Driventure, according to the company’s founder and CEO Ali Kutay Yarali. Although the amount of the investment was not disclosed, Yarali said that they will use the investment to accelerate the growth of the company.

Delivers.ai, founded by Ali Kutay Yarali and Oral Yigitkus, delivers food and grocery shopping without contact with electric autonomous robots. The company aims to make local delivery faster, hygienic, smart, risk-free and cost-effective by serving online food ordering platforms, grocery stores and restaurants with its autonomous robotic vehicle network.

Delivers.ai had collaborated with the company in the development of Yemeksepeti’s delivery robot, YEBOs. Delivers.ai, which received its first investment with a valuation of ₺20 million at the pre-seed stage in October 2020, received investment from Startupfon, Kalyon Venture Capital, ITK Ventures and Emre Tok last year.

Driventure, on the other hand, was implemented by Ford Otosan in 2021. The company especially invests in startups working on mobility, connectivity, autonomous technologies and electric vehicles. The company’s previous investments include Optiyol and Bluedot initiatives.
