According to the statement made by the company, Goknur Gida has a daily fruit processing capacity of 7,200 tons with 10 facilities and a 10 thousand decare orchard in 4 different provinces in Turkiye and sells the products it produces in Turkiye to more than 470 customers including chain markets, food and beverage brands, by bringing it together with consumers all over the world from North America to Europe and Asia Pacific.

On 1-2-3 March, Goknur Gida’s shares with a nominal value of ₺79 million 250 thousand will be offered to the public at a price of ₺11, with a fixed price and book collection method. Of the shares to be offered to the public, ₺65 million will be capital increase, ₺14 million 250 will be joint sales.

In the public offering, 3% of Goknur Gida shares will be allocated to company employees, 72% to domestic individual investors, 15% to domestic institutional investors and 10% to foreign institutional investors.

The company will use 65% of the income from the public offering in garden investments, renewable energy investments and machinery and equipment investments. The remaining 15% will be reserved for strengthening working capital and 20% for loan repayment.

Focused on organic production

Established in 1993, Goknur Gida’s product portfolio consists of 68% concentrates, 13% fruit juices, 6% puree concentrates and purees, and 1% table fruit and vegetables. Having a daily processing capacity of 7,200 tons of fruit, 1,000 tons of bottling and 500 tons of fresh fruit packaging, Goknur Gida supplies part of its fruit and vegetable supply from local farmers and partly from its own gardens. All orchards belonging to Goknur Gida either have organic certification or are in the process of transitioning to organic production.

Goknur Gida, which has more than 90 product types in its portfolio, has an annual capacity of processing more than 2 million tons of fruit and vegetables with its 10 production facilities in Afyon, Mersin, Adana and Nigde and its own agricultural area of approximately 10 thousand decares. The export-oriented company exports more than 80% of its products to 85 countries.

Ranking 200th in the ‘Top 500 Industrial Enterprises of Turkiye-2021’ survey of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO), Goknur Gida, with its export figures in 2021, according to the data announced by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), became the first in the fruit and vegetable products sector in Turkiye.

Goknur Gida, which uses the fruit wastes from production in electricity generation and converts it into energy, with the Mey Biogas and Dinar Biogas companies under its roof, commissioned a rooftop solar power plant of approximately 5 megawatts in 2022.

Goknur Gida’s 2021 sales increased nearly 3 times compared to 2019. In the 9-month period of 2022, sales of Goknur Gida increased by 152% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached ₺3 billion 106 million, and its net profit reached ₺302.2 million.
