Doğuş Otomotiv has officially entered the yacht and boat sales business by signing a distribution agreement with Riviera Australia, becoming the company’s exclusive distributor in Turkey. The announcement was made through a public disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
According to the statement, Doğuş Otomotiv Servis ve Ticaret A.Ş. will be responsible for the sales and after-sales services of Riviera-branded motor yachts across Turkey under the new agreement with Riviera Australia Pty Limited.
From After-Sales Services to Direct Sales
Doğuş Otomotiv initially entered the maritime sector in 2021 through the establishment of Doğuş Marine Services, focusing on after-sales services and spare parts supply. With this new agreement, the company is now expanding its operations to include direct sales of yachts and boats.
Global Yacht Manufacturer
Founded in 1980, Riviera is a renowned Australian superyacht manufacturer with a workforce of around 1,000 employees. The company exports its luxury motor yachts to various countries worldwide, including key markets such as the United States and New Zealand.
With this strategic move, Doğuş Otomotiv reinforces its presence in the marine industry, marking a significant expansion beyond its traditional automotive business.
