Domestic startup Tamamliyo announced Open Insurance Portal, which it developed specifically for insurance companies

Integrating insurance companies and digital businesses that want to sell insurance products, insurtech startup Tamamliyo shortens insurance product development times for startups and digital businesses with the Open Insurance Portal it designed, while easing the IT burden for insurance companies and supporting them to reach wider audiences.

Bringing together insurance companies with digital businesses that want to sell insurance products, Tamamliyo has launched its newly developed Open Insurance Portal. In this way, while shortening the insurance product development times of startups and digital businesses, it both eases the IT burden for insurance companies and enables them to reach wider audiences.

With the development of technology, the insurance industry opens the door to innovations that will shape the future of the market. Many insurance companies abandon traditional working models and put digital transformation at the top of their 2023 agenda in order to provide more qualified service to their customers and improve their operational processes.

Metin Onguv, co-founder of Tamamliyo, stated that the use of API, known as application programming interface, of the platform they designed will make the insurance industry more effective and efficient. Expressing that the insurance needs will be made more understandable with the Open Insurance Portal, Metin Onguc made the following statements in his statement:

“Open Insurance Portal is a platform we have developed so that insurance companies can access their products and services in a more practical way. Thanks to the APIs here, developers can integrate insurance APIs with other different applications. In addition to providing better service to customers, it also makes it possible to better understand their insurance needs.”

It saves time while increasing efficiency in business processes

Metin Onguc continued his words as follows: “Thanks to our portal, which plays an important role in reaching different audiences, insurance companies do not waste time with the errors of the APIs, but make them available without errors. For example, a travel app can advise its users on travel insurance, or a health app can allow users to check their insurance information. The portal, which provides many conveniences to insurance companies, thus alleviates the IT burden of companies.”

World-class firsts

Stating that more open APIs are expected to be used in the insurance industry in the future, Tamamliyo Technology Officer and Co-Founder Deniz Gul shared the following information on the use of their portal: “Businesses that want to develop an insurance application should apply from our website to access the portal. Then, they can easily develop the insurance applications they want by accessing the APIs of the requested insurance products.”
