DS Automobiles has announced that its new all-electric flagship model, the DS N°8, will be launched in Turkey in the final quarter of 2025. The model promises to set new standards in premium SUV design and technology, combining performance, luxury, and sustainable mobility.
According to a company statement, the DS N°8 stands out with its aerodynamic design, cutting-edge technology, and high levels of comfort. Designed as a revolutionary SUV coupe, the model showcases DS Automobiles’ new premium design language while meeting evolving customer expectations.
Inspired by the DS Aero Sport Lounge concept, the DS N°8 features a long and low hood for improved aerodynamic efficiency and boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.24 Cx. Powered by a fully electric drivetrain, the vehicle offers a range of up to 750 kilometers on the WLTP cycle.
The front end features advanced lighting technology, including DS’s signature vertical LED daytime running lights and the new ‘DS Lightblade’ illumination system. A standout innovation is the illuminated front grille, known as DS Luminascreen, which adds a futuristic aesthetic. The distinctive V-shaped LED light signature, first seen on the DS e-Tense Performance concept, makes its production debut here.
The rear of the vehicle includes the branding “DS AUTOMOBILES N°8,” further emphasizing its flagship status.
Measuring 4.82 meters long, 1.90 meters wide, 1.58 meters high, and offering a 2.90-meter wheelbase, the DS N°8 balances sleek side surfaces with sharply defined lines. Two-tone paint finishes, enhanced by black accents, give the model a modern and premium appearance.
A Yacht-Inspired Interior
The interior takes cues from yacht design, focusing on a pure and refined layout that combines high technology with craftsmanship. The center console features ambient lighting that creates a “floating” visual effect.
The cabin includes two high-definition digital displays, one of which is a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. The ergonomically designed front seats offer a “wraparound” feel and were inspired by the DS Aero Sport Lounge concept.
The top of the center console houses the main interactive controls, including gear selection, drive mode selector, and audio controls. Multiple storage areas and a 620-liter rectangular trunk enhance day-to-day usability.
High Performance and Long Range
The DS N°8 will be offered with two fully electric powertrains producing 213 hp and 350 hp, respectively. The 350 hp variant includes dual electric motors with all-wheel drive. A temporary power boost function pushes the system to 375 hp in long-range versions.
The car will be equipped with a 97.2 kWh battery, providing up to 750 km of range while consuming only 12.9 kWh/100 km under WLTP standards. This allows for fewer and shorter charging stops on long trips.
A variable suspension system linked to a camera mounted above the windshield will be standard on the Etoile trim level, further enhancing ride comfort.
A Vision of Sustainable Luxury
DS Automobiles CEO Xavier Peugeot emphasized the brand’s commitment to innovation and sustainability:
“At a time when the industry is undergoing a revolution, DS Automobiles is at the forefront. With the DS N°8, we offer sustainable and uncompromising mobility, inspired by the French art of travel. The team has deliberately and meticulously selected the materials and technologies that will elevate this new flagship model to the top of its class,” he said.
The DS N°8 is poised to redefine luxury electric mobility with its forward-thinking design, long range, and advanced features—solidifying DS Automobiles’ position in the premium EV segment.
