Dubai Esports & Games Festival will return from 8 to 24 May 2026, marking its fifth and largest edition to date. Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, the citywide event continues to strengthen Dubai’s position in the global gaming industry.
Since its launch in 2022, Dubai Esports & Games Festival has grown into a major international platform. In 2025, it welcomed more than 45,000 fans, families and industry professionals across 12 events over 17 days. The 2026 edition is set to expand further, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position the city among the world’s top three global destinations.
Flagship events will return, including GameExpo, GameExpo Summit powered by PG Connects, Play Beyond and the Dubai Cosplay Championship. GameExpo will take place from 22 to 24 May at Dubai World Trade Centre, Zabeel Halls 2 and 3, featuring more than 100 gaming consoles,live tournaments and immersive zones such as Neo Tokyo District and Battle Arena.
This year’s programme places strong emphasis on youth engagement and family participation, in line with the UAE’s Year of the Family. A new collaboration with LEGO Certified Stores will introduce dedicated interactive build zones designed to inspire creativity across generations.
The festival will also host The Narrows, a creative marketplace spotlighting local and Emirati artists, alongside educational initiatives aimed at students and teachers. Registration is now open for fans, schools, vendors and industry professionals.
With global leaders, developers and investors expected to attend, Dubai Esports & Games Festival continues to position the emirate at the forefront of digital innovation and esports development.
