Empa Elektronik’s IPO Application Approved by Capital Markets Board

Empa Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a technology supplier operating in the electronic components sector, has received approval from the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB) for its initial public offering (IPO).

The offering will be led by Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş., with the share price set at TRY 22 per share. A total of 38 million shares with a nominal value of TRY 38 million will be offered, consisting of 29 million shares to be issued through a capital increase and 9 million shares from existing shareholders.

Following the capital increase, the company’s issued capital will rise from TRY 141 million to TRY 170 million. The total IPO size is targeted at TRY 836 million, with a projected free float ratio of 22.35%.

Broad Technology Portfolio

Empa Elektronik provides comprehensive technology supply services across a wide range of industries, including space, aviation and defense, industrial electronics, e-mobility, white goods and small home appliances, as well as smart energy and LED lighting.

The company offers a broad portfolio covering semiconductors, power electronics, electromechanical components and other electronic solutions. It also supports customers’ R&D and production processes with expertise in embedded systems, edge artificial intelligence and cloud-IoT technologies.

Positioned as a technology supplier in Türkiye’s flagship projects, Empa operates across air, land and sea platforms in defense projects and contributes to the automotive sector, including projects related to TOGG. Its solutions are also present in industrial production processes, urban smart energy systems and consumer electronics applications.

Supplier to Strategic Defense Projects

Empa Elektronik provides R&D and critical material support to some of Türkiye’s most significant defense programs. The company is involved as a key supplier in projects such as the fifth-generation national combat aircraft KAAN, the trainer and jet aircraft HÜRKUŞ and HÜRJET, as well as the Altay Tankı main battle tank.

In addition, the company supplies critical components for armed and unarmed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV/UCAV) projects and smart munitions systems developed for land, air and naval platforms.

Since its establishment, Empa Elektronik has contributed to the development of Türkiye’s domestic electronics industry and plays an active role in bringing global technologies to the local market through R&D and production collaborations.
