“As Enerjisa Enerji, we are in deep sadness after the earthquakes that took place in our country. Our top priority is to protect our employees and their families from the effects of the earthquake and to support the recovery process of the region and our people with all our might. We have returned to our normal activities in four of the five cities affected by the earthquake in the post-disaster period, for which we made great efforts. However, our operational activities and network inventory are protected by relevant regulations and insurance mechanisms. We convey our best wishes to all our citizens who were affected by the earthquakes that took place on February 6 in the Toros region, including the five provinces in which we operate. We offer our condolences to our entire nation, including our 15 employees who lost their lives in these tragic earthquakes.”

In the statement, it was stated that the energy supply of the company was reorganized through the distribution networks and generators in Adana, Gaziantep, Kilis and Osmaniye provinces and returned to its normal activities, and it was emphasized that electricity was supplied to all critical points such as hospitals, airport, mass housing and street lighting in Hatay.

In the statement, it was stated that the additional burdens and responsibilities that this disaster will bring are obvious.

In the statement, it was stated that the decision on the late payment of electricity bills is expected to be announced by the regulatory body Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).

In addition, investments related to the renewal of the electricity distribution network are also clearly defined in the legislation. However, despite the effects of this disaster, no change is foreseen in the business results of our company in the 2023 plan. More details regarding the continuity and economic impact of our operations will be announced in the coming days. As Enerjisa Enerji, we focus primarily on the health and safety of our employees and their families at this stage. In this process, we welcome the implementation of protective measures by our regulatory agency. As Enerjisa Enerji, we wish God’s mercy on all our citizens who lost their lives in this tragic disaster, our condolences to their grieving families, and a speedy recovery to our injured people.”
