Total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) decreased by $752 million in the week of May 5 compared to the previous week and decreased to $114 billion 132 million.

Accordingly, as of May 5, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $59 million to $68 billion 412 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $68 billion 471 million on April 28.
In the said period, gold reserves decreased by $693 million from $46 billion 413 million to $45 billion 720 million.
Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves decreased from $114 billion 884 million to $114 billion 132 million in the week of May 5, with a decrease of $752 million compared to the previous week.
