European markets close day higher

All major indices end day up, excluding Spain’s IBEX 35

Major European markets closed the second transaction day of the week in the positive territory.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, earned 1.44 points, or 0.35%, to end the day at 408.58.

The UK’s FTSE 100 index was up 30.24, or 0.42%, to 7,152.05 points.

Germany’s DAX 30 also rose 0.2%, or 26.8 points, to 13,292.40,while France’s CAC 40 increased 0.75%, or 44.57 points, to 5,964.66.

Italy’s FTSE MIB gained 85.36 points, or 0.39%, to stand at 22,089.41.

Meanwhile, Spain’s IBEX 35 decreased by 50.4 points, or 0.61%, to 8,235.60.
