Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) Edirne Regional Directorate announced the foreign trade statistics for August.
Accordingly, Turkiye’s exports increased by 13.1% and imports by 40.4% in August.
Exports in Edirne decreased by 13.8% in August compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to $6.7 million, while imports decreased by 39% to $4 million.
In Tekirdağ, in August, exports increased by 6.5% compared to the same month of 2021 and reached $252.5 million, and imports increased by 25.1% to $277.3 million.
Exports in Kıiklareli increased by 11.8% in August to $27.4 million, while imports decreased by 10.8% to $18.2 million.
