Tekirdag Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman of the Board and TOBB Board Member Cengiz Gunay announced that the exports of Tekirdag-based companies increased by 14.5% in September compared to the same month of the previous year.
Gunay, in his written statement, said that Tekirdag-based companies reached an export figure of $152 million 161 thousand in September 2022.
Noting that the exports from Tekirdag increased by 5.6% in September compared to the previous month, Gunay said:
“In September, the exports of Tekirdag-based companies increased by 14.5% compared to the same month of the previous year. Products exported from Tekirdag in September, electrical and electronics, chemicals and products, ready-made clothing and apparel, machinery and accessories, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, textiles and raw materials, and the automotive industry came to the fore. Germany and the USA are at the forefront among exporting countries. Bulgaria, Italy, Poland and the Russian Federation took part. I would like to thank our companies and those who contributed to the increase in our exports. We will continue to work for Tekirdag.”
