Exports of $30.77 billion from Uludag Exporters’ Associations in 2021

The exports of Uludag Exporters’ Associations (UIB), which is the second largest exporting union of Turkey on the basis of the general secretariat, reached $30 billion 767 million 911 thousand in 2021.

According to the statement made by the union, the exports of UIB, whose exports were realized as $3 billion 75 million 533 thousand in December, were recorded as $30 billion 767 million 911 thousand in 2021 with an increase of 14.6% compared to the previous year.

Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association (OIB), which realized an export of $2 billion 572 million 510 thousand in December, was announced as $25 billion 340 million 684 thousand in 2021 with an increase of 12% compared to the previous year.

Uludag Textile Exporters’ Association (UTIB) achieved an export of $137 million 540 thousand in December with an increase of 35.5% compared to the same month of 2020. UTIB’s exports in 2021 amounted to $1 billion 355 million 235 thousand with an increase of 33% compared to 2020.

While the exports of Uludag Ready-made Clothing and Apparel Exporters’ Association (UHKIB) in December reached $84.5 million with an increase of 13% compared to the same month of the previous year, UHKIB’s exports in 2021 increased by 31.4% compared to the previous year and reached $969 million 859 thousand.

Uludag Fruit and Vegetable Products Exporters’ Association (UMSMIB), which exported $20.7 million in December with an increase of 9% compared to December of the previous year, realized an export of $233 million 289 thousand in 2021 with an increase of 23% compared to 2020.

Uludag Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (UYMSIB) exported $10 million 759 thousand in December, while the export sales of the sub-union in 2021 increased by 9% compared to 2020 and recorded as $159 million 531 thousand.

On the other hand, the exports of the sectors listed under the “other” heading, which are registered through the UIB, were announced as $2 billion 709 million in 2021.

UIB Coordinator President Baran Celik, whose views were given in the statement, emphasized that it is an important success that the unions’ exports in 2021 increased by almost 15% compared to the previous year, and exceeded $30 billion, despite the global economic difficulties.
