The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT) will increase the transaction limit for the FAST instant payment system from TL 100,000 to TL 300,000, effective August 26, 2026.
According to a statement released by the CBRT, the change was introduced in response to growing user demand for FAST and the evolving needs of the payments ecosystem.
New Limit Applies to Money Transfers and Payment Requests
Under the new regulation, the maximum amount that can be transferred through FAST will rise to TL 300,000, up from the current TL 100,000.
The higher limit will also apply to payments made through FAST’s “Request to Pay” (Ödeme İste) service.
Change Takes Effect August 26
The new limits will come into effect on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The increase is expected to make FAST more practical for higher-value payments and reduce the need for users to split larger transfers into multiple transactions.
