Fenerbahçe Football Club’s shares, traded on Borsa Istanbul, dropped by 9.97%, opening the day at the bottom price of 46.50 TL. The stock loss is currently nearing 9%.
The sharp decline comes after Fenerbahçe’s goalless draw against Samsunspor in the Trendyol Süper Lig, which dealt a significant blow to their championship hopes. With this result, Fenerbahçe now trails league leader Galatasaray by 9 points, having played one match less.
In contrast, Galatasaray’s shares surged by 6.6%, trading at 2.09 TL.
