Five Turkish defense companies — ASELSAN, ARCA Savunma, ROKETSAN, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), and MKE — have been included in the Defense News Top 100, the annual ranking of the world’s largest defense companies.
The five Turkish companies generated a combined $14.9 billion in defense revenues in 2025, according to the ranking, which is based on companies’ defense sales during the previous year.
ASELSAN enters the global top 40
ASELSAN maintained its position as the highest-ranked Turkish company, climbing from 43rd to 40th place in the global ranking.
The company’s defense revenues increased by approximately 26%, rising from $3.54 billion in 2024 to $4.46 billion in 2025.
ARCA makes its debut
The most notable development among Turkish companies was the first-time inclusion of ARCA Savunma, which entered the ranking at 53rd place.
ARCA’s defense revenues rose sharply from $653.2 million in 2024 to $3 billion in 2025, representing an increase of approximately 4.6 times in one year.
ROKETSAN climbs seven places
ROKETSAN also recorded a significant improvement, rising from 71st to 64th place.
The company’s defense revenues increased from $2.00 billion in 2024 to $2.37 billion in 2025, an increase of approximately 18%.
TUSAŞ and MKE remain in the Top 100
TUSAŞ ranked 48th, compared with 47th place in the previous ranking, while MKE ranked 81st, compared with 80th previously. The changes were attributed to companies entering the ranking at higher positions.
TUSAŞ generated $3.65 billion in defense revenues in 2025, up approximately 16% from $3.15 billion in 2024.
MKE’s defense revenues reached $1.42 billion, compared with $1.21 billion in 2024, marking an increase of approximately 18%.
Turkish companies’ combined revenues reach $14.9 billion
The five Turkish companies listed in the 2026 Defense News Top 100 generated a combined $14.9 billion in defense revenues in 2025.
The results highlight the continued expansion of Turkey’s defense industry and the growing international scale of its major defense companies.
U.S. defense giants dominate the top
Lockheed Martin retained the top position in the global ranking, with $72.1 billion in defense revenues in 2025.
It was followed by RTX with $46 billion, General Dynamics with $39.4 billion, Northrop Grumman with $37 billion, and BAE Systems with $36 billion.
All five companies increased their defense revenues compared with the previous year.
