Focusing on the treatment of Glaucom’s disease, GlaucoT received an investment of ₺1.63 million

GlaucoT, which received an investment of ₺44.37 million about 7 months ago, announced that it has received another investment.

We first told you about GlaucoT, a domestic startup that focuses on treating glaucoma, in June 2021. GlaucoT, which received an investment of ₺44.37 million about 7 months ago, announced that it has received another investment.

According to the information we received, GlaucoT received an investment of ₺1.63 million from Alesta Electronic Technology Inc. With the investment realized, 2.75% of GlaucoT’s shares passed to Alesta Investment. The total shares of GlaucoT, which was transferred to Alesta Investment with the 2.75% share purchased, rose to 8.72%.

To remind you, Alesta Investment also participated in the investments of the GlaucoT initiative in September of 2021 and in May of 2022.

GlaucoT, which was founded by Electronics Engineer Veysel Ozkapici, Ophthalmology Specialist Op. Dr. Abdulkadir Oduncu and Alperen Acemoglu, who have worked in the health sector for many years, aims to stop Glaucom disease, which causes blindness in its advanced stages, without surgery and medication, with the patented technology it developed.

Focusing on a non-surgical and drug-free treatment solution, GlaucoT has also developed a wearable Glaucom therapy device for the treatment of Glaucom disease. Finally, let’s add that GlaucoT participated in CES 2023, which took place in the past weeks, with the treatment device it developed.
