Overseas drugs will now be registered in the Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System.

With the regulation made by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency, medicines obtained from abroad on a patient-based prescription will be recorded in the Pharmaceutical Tracking System and tracked with a data matrix.
In addition, it was obligatory to have a resident representative in Turkiye for drugs procured from abroad within the scope of the regulation.
Overseas pharmaceutical suppliers will be able to become representatives provided that they meet the relevant obligations.
