Non-residents sold a net $32 million of equities, $5.9 million of GDBS and $1.8 million of Corporate Debt Securities last week.
Weekly Securities Statistics has been published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT). Accordingly, non-residents sold net $32 million of stocks, $5.9 million of Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDS) and $1.8 million of Company Debt Securities (CBS) during the week of August 26.
The stock of non-residents, which was $18 billion 189.9 million as of August 19, rose to $18 billion 741.3 million on 26 August.
GDBS STOCK OF PEOPLE RESIDING ABROAD INCREASED TO $1 BILLION 409.9 MILLION
In the same period, GDDS stocks of non-residents increased from $1 billion 344.5 million to $1 billion 409.9 million, while their stocks of SIS decreased from $106.5 million to $103.7 million.
