The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye decreased by $9 billion 5 million in the week of May 12 compared to the previous week and decreased to $105 billion 127 million.

Accordingly, as of May 12, the gross foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank decreased by $7 billion 597 million to $60 billion 815 million. Gross foreign exchange reserves were at the level of $68 billion 412 million on 5 May.
In the said period, gold reserves decreased by $1 billion 408 million from $45 billion 720 million to $44 billion 312 million.
Thus, the Central Bank’s total reserves decreased from $114 billion 132 million to $105 billion 127 million in the week of May 12, with a decrease of $9 billion 5 million compared to the previous week.
