
Four companies operating in the energy sector have ranked among Türkiye’s top 100 corporate taxpayers for the 2025 tax year, according to data released by the Revenue Administration.
Among the energy companies whose names were disclosed, Türkiye Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ) ranked first, with TL 4.33 billion in corporate tax assessed. TEİAŞ ranked 25th overall among Türkiye’s top 100 taxpayers.
The list, compiled from Revenue Administration data, includes taxpayers from a range of sectors, including banking, insurance, telecommunications, defense, energy and retail. However, 36 of the top 100 taxpayers chose not to have their names disclosed.
Four Energy Companies on the List
The energy companies whose names were disclosed are:
- TEİAŞ
- İçdaş Elektrik Enerjisi Üretim ve Yatırım AŞ
- Cengiz Enerji Sanayii ve Ticaret AŞ
- Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri AŞ (Tüpraş)
TEİAŞ, which operates in electricity transmission, led the energy sector with a corporate tax assessment of TL 4,331,642,046.
Three Companies Have Remained in the Top 100 for Three Consecutive Years
TEİAŞ, Tüpraş and İçdaş Elektrik have all appeared among Türkiye’s top 100 corporate taxpayers for three consecutive years from 2023 through 2025, highlighting the continued contribution of major energy companies to public tax revenues.
The results underline the significant role played by the energy sector among Türkiye’s largest corporate taxpayers, with electricity transmission, power generation and oil refining companies continuing to feature prominently in the annual rankings.
