Gold Price per Kilogram Falls to 7.31 Million Lira on KMKTP

Istanbul — The price of standard gold per kilogram on the Borsa Istanbul Precious Metals and Diamond Market (KMKTP) declined to 7.31 million Turkish lira at the close of trading, according to market data released at the end of the session.

During the trading day, the kilogram price of gold fluctuated between 7.3 million lira and 7.365 million lira before settling at 7.31 million lira, marking a 0.6% decrease compared with the previous closing price of 7.357 million lira.

Trading activity in the gold market remained significant. Total transaction volume for gold reached approximately 2.27 billion lira, while the total quantity traded amounted to about 313.97 kilograms.

Across all precious metals on the exchange, the overall transaction volume totaled roughly 4.87 billion lira, reflecting continued activity in Türkiye’s precious-metals market.

Among the institutions with the highest trading activity in the session were Altınbaş Precious Metals, Uğuras Precious Metals, Kuveyt Türk Participation Bank, Nil Precious Metals, and ARD Group Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals.

The KMKTP, operating under Borsa Istanbul, serves as Türkiye’s main marketplace for precious metals trading, and its daily prices are widely used as a benchmark for the domestic gold market and investors tracking gold price movements.
